How we grade a home

Every number on this site comes from a rule you can read here, applied to public data you can check, plus what the listing itself says. Nothing is a vibe. Where we do not know something, we say so, and we say what the better source would be. If you spot a gap we have missed, .

What we measure, and why

Everything here is about exposure: what a guest breathes, touches and sleeps next to. Nine things about the area around the home, then two things about the building itself. Each area component gets a score from 0 to 100, with the weight shown next to it. The weights say how much each one counts in the overall area score.

The home itself

What passes, what fails, what the letter means

By country

The rules are the same everywhere. The data underneath is not. For each region we list the sources actually wired in today and the better sources we have not reached yet. This list is our own to-do list, kept in public.
